Efecto del nivel proteínico de la dieta en el crecimiento y hormonas reproductivas de la cerda lampiño tropical.

Abstract

El enfoque del agroecosistema en la ganadería tropical, ha propuesto al sistema de producción porcino y de manera específica al cerdo Lampiño Tropical como una alternativa sustentable que contribuye a la productividad y mejoramiento del nivel de vida de familias del medio rural en México. El objetivo de este trabajo fue estimar el efecto del nivel de proteína de dos dietas elaboradas a base de maíz y pasta de soya en el crecimiento y niveles hormonales de cerdas criollas Lampiño Tropical pre púberes, provenientes de la región de Las Altas Montañas del estado de Veracruz. Se utilizaron 30 cerdas pre-púberes de 60±7 días de edad, peso medio de 7.5±1.5 kg, con un periodo experimental de 128 d. Se utilizaron dos dietas, una a base de maíz quebrado adicionada con vitaminas y minerales (MA) y otra a la que se le adiciono soya (MS); la primera con 7.8% de proteína cruda y la segunda con 13.8%. Tanto el nivel de proteína de la dieta como el periodo de medición; así como, su interacción tuvo efectos significativos en todas las variables de respuesta relacionadas con el crecimiento (p≤0.01), las cerdas que consumieron MS tuvieron mayor peso vivo(PV) 16.32±0.9 kg, consumo de alimento (CA) 600 g d-1, ganancia diaria de peso (GDP) 120 g d-1. Para estradiol teniendo significancia solo en la interacción, las cerdas que consumieron la dieta MS tuvieron un nivel de 50.58±3.59 (pg/mL), para progesterona solo presento significancia la dieta de las cerdas que consumieron MA tuvieron un nivel de 2.32 ± 0.33 (ng/mL). _______________ EFFEC OF THE PROTEINIC LEVEL OF THE DIET ON THE GROWTH AND REPRODUCTIVE HORMONES OF LAMPIÑO TROPICAL BRISTLES. ABSTRACT: The approach of the agroecosystem in tropical livestock has proposed to the pig production system and specifically to the Lampiño Tropical pig as a sustainable alternative that contributes to the productivity and improvement of the standard of living of rural families in Mexico. The Creole pig under extensive conditions has a high fertility index, the objective of this work was to estimate the effect of the protein level of two diets elaborated with corn and soybean paste in the growth and hormonal levels of Creole bristles Lampiño Tropical pre-pubertal, from the region of Las Altas Montañas in the state of Veracruz.
