Perspectivas de desarrollo en turismo rural de socios y socias de ASOCAFEMAT, de las comunidades Pacayona y Chocolata, municipio de San ramón Matagalpa, II semestre, 2012

Abstract

En la presente investigación se analizaron las perspectivas de desarrollo en turismo rural de socios y socias de la Asociación de Cafetaleros de Matagalpa ASOCAFEMAT comunidades: Pacayona y Chocolata municipio de San Ramón Matagalpa, segundo semestre del 2012. El estudio se realizó a través de visitas de campo, censo poblacional conformado por 47 socios y socias de ASOCAFEMAT a quienes se les aplico encuestas; entrevistas a funcionarios de instituciones públicas y privadas. Las variables estudiadas fueron perspectivas en turismo rural, aspectos socioeconómicos y ambientales. El estudio determinó que las dos comunidades cuentan con vías de acceso en buen estado, están a una distancia de 33 y 38 kilómetros de Matagalpa. Se identificaron 11 recursos turísticos en la Pacayona y 8 en la Chocolata para un total de 19, predominando la categoría sitios naturales y la sub categoría ríos. 17 socios presentan potencial en servicio de alojamiento con capacidad máxima de 24 personas; 21 socios servicio de alimentación con capacidad máxima de 25 personas, ambas comunidades cuentan con instalaciones turísticas. Los socios tienen la disposición de participar colectivamente en iniciativas de turismo rural e involucrar al resto de la familia. Cuentan con vivienda, tierra propia, servicios básicos, condiciones ambientales, favorables, ya que manejan adecuadamente los desechos sólidos y líquidos, protegen la flora, fauna y recursos hídricos. Members have the will in participating collectively in rural tourism initiatives involving the rest of the family. They have houses, own land, basic services, favorable environmental conditions, because they handle appropriately the solid and liquid wastes, protect the flora and fauna and water resources. Conditions that allow them begin tourist initiatives.
