Análisis estructural de la economía del estado de Oaxaca, un enfoque de insumo-producto

Abstract

Al igual que la economía nacional, la economía del estado de Oaxaca ha presentado cambios estructurales importantes en las dos últimas décadas, como consecuencia del nuevo modelo de desarrollo económico adoptado al inicio de los años 80’s. Especialmente en su Sector Agropecuario Forestal y Pesca (SAPFYP), este trabajo realiza un análisis de la estructura de la economía del estado de Oaxaca, mediante la participación e interrelación de los distintos sectores que la componen. La regionalización de la economía Oaxaqueña se efectuó utilizando la metodología matriz insumo-producto, a través de los coeficientes de localización y se usaron como base los años 1980, 1993, 1996 y 2001 para, posteriormente, hacer proyecciones al año 2010. Los resultados mostraron que las ramas económicas más importantes y que hacen crecer la economía de Oaxaca, son Caza y Pesca; Textiles, Prendas de Vestir e Industria del Cuero; Construcción; Otras Industrias manufactureras y; Alimentos Bebidas y Tabaco. Otros resultados importantes mostraron que ante cambios en el Consumo privado de la demanda final, las ramas económicas que más crecen son Agricultura; Ganadería; Alimentos, Bebidas y Tabaco; Industria Textil; Comercio, Restaurantes y Hoteles y; Transporte Almacenaje y Comunicaciones._______Like the national economy, the economy of the state of Oaxaca has presented significant structural changes in the last two decades as a result of a new model of economic development adopted in the early 80s. Specially in its Agricultural, Forestry and Fishing sector (SAPFYP), in this paper we conduct an analysis of the structure of the economy of the state of Oaxaca through the participation and interaction of the different sectors that comprise it. The regionalization of the economy of Oaxaca was done using the input-output matrix methodology through the coefficients of localization and using, as base, the years 1980, 1993, 1996, and 2001 to then make projections to the year 2010. The results showed that the most important economic branches, which help the economy of Oaxaca grow, are Hunting and Fishing, Textiles, Clothing and Leather industry, Construction, Other Manufactory industries, and Food, Beverages and Tobacco. Other significant results showed that in the face of changes in private consumption of the final demand, the fastest growing economic branches are Agriculture, Cattle Raising, Food, Beverages and Tobacco, Textiles, Commerce, Restaurants and Hotels, and Transportation, Storage and Communications.
